Having spent many years living and working in my native Cumbria I know the county and surrounding areas very well and from a photographic standpoint. This makes me ideally qualified to be able to find locations for photographers and film and TV makers. I can also provide professional images of locations as well as 360 degree (see page in photography section) interactive site survey, as well as marked up maps with accurate GPS obtained grid references, giving clients a complete picture before the recce stage.
Having experience of working with film and TV crews I am familiar with requirements in terms of vehicular access, and provision for unit bases etc.
Using my many contacts in the Cumbrian tourism industry and can also assist with finding large blocks of accommodation, local transport and services.
I have recently worked on the Miss Potter film during their shooting in Cumbria during 2006 (credited). I worked directly with the producer, Nigel Wool, and Oscar winning director, Chris Noonan, finding many of the locations used for both the main and 2nd units. and worked as a location manager during the reshoots in East and West Cumbria.
